1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and any enquiry, quote or work carried out by Siga Building Services Joinery (Mariusz Siga), a sole trader based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. The website

• Information on this site is provided in good faith for general information about our services. It is not a binding offer.
• Photos in the gallery are of our own past work. You may not reproduce them without permission.
• We may update, change or remove content at any time without notice.

3. Quotes and work

• All prices discussed via WhatsApp, phone, email or the enquiry form are estimates until a written quote is provided.
• A quote becomes binding when both parties have agreed the scope, price and start date in writing (including via WhatsApp or email).
• Any variations to the agreed scope may result in additional charges, which will be discussed and agreed before work continues.
• Payment terms will be set out in the quote or invoice. Late payments may accrue statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.

4. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill, for a reasonable price and within a reasonable time.

5. Cancellations

If you cancel work that has already been scheduled we may charge for materials already ordered and for time reserved that cannot be reallocated. Consumers who commission work off-premises have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless they've asked us to start work sooner and services have already been provided.

6. Liability

We take reasonable care in providing our services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

7. Intellectual property

All text, photos and design on this site belong to Siga Building Services Joinery or its licensors and may not be copied, reused or republished without permission.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
